I'll start with the positives -- these products are visually attractive and support artisans abroad. But the only problem is that they are not towels. They are non-absorbent pieces of cloth. Imagine trying to dry yourself with your t-shirt and you'll get the idea.

However, the only way to find out about this product defect is to open the package and use them. Unfortunately this makes the product ineligible for a return here at Give Back Goods. I understand that it's difficult to run a small business, but it's equally challenging for customers to manage their budgets. Now I need to spend more to buy actual towels.

If you do want to try this product, buy it instead from a retailer with a more flexible return policy. (It should go without saying, of course, that you shouldn't abuse a retailer's return policy). This has been a learning experience for me -- always read the return policy before you buy!
