Ethically crafted from natural fibers and dyes, each of these silk pillows represents days of work and generations of skill passed from mother to daughter. Just outside of Marrakech, a remarkable group of women transforms the natural fibers of desert agave into beautiful silken thread using time-honored methods. The hand-spun thread is then masterfully woven on family looms and embroidered with traditional motifs. Through their weaving, these women are redefining traditional gender roles and finding financial independence.
Please note that size, color and design will vary slightly between each item (as shown in last photo).
